Open positions:

Vice President of Health Insurance Sales
The candidate will be responsible for selling Perspecta's Software as a Service solutions to Health Insurance companies throughout the entire US. The candidate will “own” the Health Insurance market, including creating a strategy to target key accounts, working closely with the VP of Marketing to create a targeted strategy for lead nurture and generation, and progressing key accounts from prospect stage to closed sale. This candidate must have enterprise-level sale expertise, relationships, and pedigree, as well as possess strong oral and written communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to resolve problems effectively and efficiently with a past track record of exceeding sales quota.

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this individual will be responsible for leveraging existing client relationships to upsell current accounts as well as generating new sales to meet sales quota. The type of person for this role is highly creative and entrepreneurial. Given Perspecta’s current fantastic growth trajectory, this person will initially be the sole salesperson within health insurance but will progress to manage a team focused on the industry including other sales reps as well as sales engineers and lead generation.

Educational and Experience Requirements
  • BA/BS degree in business or a related field is preferred. In lieu of degree, 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • 5 or more years’ experience working in the health insurance or related industry
  • 5 or more years’ experience in enterprise software sales

Responsibilities Include:
  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline
  • Progress opportunities through the pipeline from Qualification to Close
  • Engage and diplomatically communicate with prospects and existing customers in written or verbal form
  • Manage deals from inception to close while engaging the appropriate stakeholders at the prospect
  • Provide necessary reports to the management team when requested and/or scheduled.
  • Creative thinking to progress deals through the pipeline
  • Foster strong relationships with both the prospect and internally

Required Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong leadership skills to guide teams and work with high-level decision makers
  • Ability to manage multiple prospects and opportunities simultaneously

Compensation:
Base Salary plus uncapped commissions/bonus and stock option plan.
DATA SCIENTIST
(Remote/Onsite)
Perspecta is looking for a Data Scientist to join our team. The Data Scientist’s role will identify and address complex business problems, design and drive creation of new data products and analytical capabilities within Perspecta’s proprietary provider data management solution offerings. Qualified candidates will also gather and analyze a large volume of data, evaluate scenarios to make predictions on future outcomes by machine learning and artificial intelligence. Candidates must have the flexibility to use various modeling techniques and tools.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Manage large and complex data projects that may include data cleansing and augmentation
  • Responsible for using analytic techniques like advanced data visualization, and machine learning to improve data accuracy and reduce client implementation time
  • Interpret problems and provide solutions using appropriate data modeling techniques • Drive collections of new data and refinement of existing data
  • Collaborate with internal and external business stakeholders to ensure Perspecta’s provider data offerings meet market demands
  • Communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner
  • Use business acumen to create solutions, strategies, and roadmaps to solidify Perspecta’s data offerings
  • Develop, maintain, curate the various reports to support sales and marketing

What You Need for this Position
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Experienced with the various types of machine learning
• Self-starter mentality with effective communication skills, and amazing follow-through
• Ability to ask and tackle the most analytical questions with a view on driving product impact
• Experienced with:
  1. Python
  2. SQL (SSIS) 
  3. Machine Learning

  5. Azure (not required but a big plus)

BI Developer /Data Engineer
Primary Responsibilities
  • Learning and understanding the provider directory domain and associated data concepts
  • Quickly triaging issues, bugs, and questions regarding Perspecta data assets
  • Implementing ETL/ELT data pipelines, primarily in SSIS
  • Migration of legacy ETL setups to modern platforms, including SSIS and Azure Data Factory
  • Contributing to design discussions of upcoming data architecture efforts
  • Develop ETL process for data loads.
  • Design and model normalized database structures.

Required
  • Writing queries against relational tables in MS Sql Server (2012+)
  • Good understanding and strong knowledge in writing T-SQL queries, stored procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views
  • Creating complex SQL Server Integration Service Packages (SSIS) using different sources and transformations
  • Experience creating ETL processes: moving and transforming bulk data across systems.
  • Strong familiarity with processing Json data formats
  • C# experience – needed for creating SSIS packages.
  • Understanding of relational table design
  • Query performance tuning and analyzing performance issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly absorb industry information and apply it to technical solutions.
  • Leverage data integration tools to create batch jobs for ETL Processing.
  • Experience with Microsoft development tooling, including visual studio, SSMS, SQL Server Development Tools, etc.

Preferred
  • Some level of DBA experience: managing security policies, backups, and other basic Sql management tasks.
  • Experience in Azure data services, such as Data Factory, Azure Sql, Azure Table Storage
  • Experience with SSIS CozyRoc toolset is a plus.
  • Healthcare industry experience HL7/FHIR

Skills
  • 7 plus years working in MS SQL Server data design, stored procedure, T-SQL Query development.
  • At least 5 years working experience with SSIS /BI tool set.
  • Basic understanding of object-oriented concepts, C# .net framework
  • Demonstrated ability to participate in discussions and analysis on new features, analytical skills, technical judgement, and the ability to use data to get to a coherent point.
  • Strong analytical problem solving and debugging skills.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, query optimization using SQL Profiler and other related monitoring/troubleshooting tools.
  • Be a self-starter and work well independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and good work ethic.
  • Have good time management skills in multi-tasking agile work environment.
TECHNICAL LEAD

Perspecta is looking for an experienced Technical Lead to join their Technology team. As the Tech Lead, you will lead multiple small teams and oversee the projects that they undertake.

Qualified candidates will need to demonstrate the ability to manage client deliverables, determine solution feasibility based on pre-defined scope, and inspire team members to be customer focused in delivering solutions.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Work with Account Management and external business stakeholders to determine and refine product requirements
  • Work with each technical team member to assign user stories/tasks to accomplish client deliverables
  • Manage and evaluate team member goals and project timelines
  • Liaise between Account Management and the Development team to ensure client deliverable standards are met
  • Provide architectural and design guidance as required
  • Provide hands-on coding as needed
  • Provide progress and perform troubleshooting as required
  • Create relevant reports and deliver presentations to the relevant stakeholders

Account specialist

Perspecta is looking for an Account Specialist to join our Customer Support team. As the Account Specialist, you will prepare customer data files to ensure operational readiness for processing.

Qualified candidates will need to demonstrate the ability to manage a work queue to meet client deliverables and be responsible for ensuring requirements are handled within performance agreements to fulfill the needs of the account.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Prepare work to be processed by gathering, organizing, and formatting data
  • Use software such as Microsoft Excel to format data into a consistent layout
  • Map field headers using a library of approved data attributes
  • Maintain well organized archive of all work completed
  • Advise on potential processes enhancement
  • Maintain quality service by monitoring standards and advising supervisor of potential problems
  • Liaise between Account Management and the Development team to ensure client deliverable standards are met
  • Provide progress and perform troubleshooting as required

QA Analyst

Perspecta is looking for an experienced QA Analyst to join our team. As the QA Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and supporting the planning, design, and execution of test plans, test cases, and process plans for projects to ensure our company’s quality standards are met.

Qualified candidates will need to demonstrate a strong attention to detail and have analytical and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate must be able to interpret and implement quality assurance standards and provide accurate and comprehensive feedback.

What You Will Be Doing

· Review and analyze system specifications
· Assist with technical specification documentation
· Ensure validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements
· Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan
· Create and execute test cases and report results

Sales operations support

Position Overview:
We seek a creative, self-motivated individual with a strong organizational skills to be responsible for administrative duties and assist the sales team in gaining and keeping clients.  The Sales Operations Support role is responsible for executing sales and marketing initiatives including lead generation campaigns, list management, creation of sales materials, event coordination, email marketing, data entry tasks and administrative duties to support the sales team.
 
Responsibilities:   
  • A self-starter to generate qualified leads in the Healthcare & Workers’ Compensation markets.
  • Ability to execute upon email and LinkedIn campaigns.
  • Ability to perform administrative work such as data entry, list uploading, list cleansing, reports, client meeting scheduling, etc.
  • Assist with the generation of sales materials including targeted PowerPoint decks.
  • Ability to maintain and update the inventory of promotional items and the company’s LinkedIn Website.
  • Ability to maintain core marketing materials.

Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in LinkedIn; knowledge of Salesforce and Adobe Illustrator a plus.
